The skinny tunnels connecting some of the rooms together are supposed to be skinny and also quite steep (difficult for the players to climb). Thought the water effects were nice too, I got that idea from Monson's suggestion here:Īttached is the FCW if anybody wants it, or if they care to tinker if they see something that could be better. Was pretty happy with how the melding of the cave/tunnel areas and brick walls ended up. Uses a mixture of Jon Roberts and DD3 symbols. I figure goblins would be pretty stoked to live in either. The map in the actual adventure book is a goblin hideout made up of caves but I was struggling to create natural stairs and small escarpments with any sort of depth so made this map more of a dungeon style with walls, floors and ladders. The players hopefully follow a path from the previous map and end up at the Cragmaw Hideout. Second map is the hideout where the goblins came from.
